Financial management: Restructuring plan
French agribusiness group leader in the European poultry market that JRM supported in Brazil. The group encountered funding difficulties in Europe as a result of changes in the economic context and negative results. JRM was hired to support it in the negotiations with banks and the design of the restructuring plan.
JRM set up with the company board the financing plan for presentation to the banks. We participate in the negotiations meetings with the banks.
The plan was accepted by the banks and new investors entered the company, which allowed to continue the operation. The company's strategy was adjusted to the new context. The unprofitable sectors were sold by reducing the amount of indebtedness.
Financial Management: Business Accompaniment
International group, European leader in poultry meat bought a Brazilian group located in Rio Grande do Sul.
Brazilian company has more than 3000 employees and six slaughterers and several distribution centers in Brazil.
The group hired JRM to accompany this purchase and support the new administrative and financial organization of the purchased company.
Due diligence
After the purchase there was disagreement between the buyer and the seller. JRM conducted with law firms the defense of the buyer during arbitration.
An audit of possible hidden liabilities was also made. Once the liabilities were discovered, strategies were defined and the solutions implemented.
Tax restructuring
The fiscal situation of the company was analyzed and the necessary measures were taken that allowed to optimize the fiscal situation of the group.
Labor disputes
There were many labor lawsuits pending before the purchase. JRM monitored defenses with lawyers and suggested an HR policy to minimize future conflicts.
Financial Management
JRM negotiated export financing with banks and implemented cash flow monitoring to improve flow control, financing conditions, and more adequate financing.
Coaching
The group hired a new CFO who was coached by JRM.
Process management: Telecommunication project
Brazilian group leader in the production and export of oranges.
He needed to organize the implementation of a new corporate data and voice network. I needed to be a leader team for this project.
We work on the design of the project that integrates the units of Matão, Limeira and Santos. The challenge was to take advantage of existing infrastructure that would enable a return on investment of up to 12 months. A previously unpublished project was conceived in Brazil to install decentralized PABX in 5 modules at the Matão plant
In addition to the project, we act in the management of the implementation ensuring that the project meets the established goals.
